What is andrology?

Andrology (Greek andros, man) is the branch of medicine concerned with men's health, particularly male infertility and sexual dysfunction.

It can be considered the male counterpart of gynaecology.

At Sydney Andrology, our work focusses mainly on testing for the causes of male infertility. If you and your partner have been trying to get pregnant for a year or more with no result, there may be a problem that needs investigating.

In around 20% of infertile couples, the problem is solely a male one.
